I'm back to do what is my second proper post, which is the first part of 3 posts I'll be doing in the next week or so- my MAC collection! About 7 months ago I bought my first MAC product in Amsterdam's Schipol Airport on my way to the beautiful Venice, after watching numerous YouTube videos and deciding MAC was something I needed in my life. I got an eyeshadow called 'Naked Lunch', purely by swatching and spending what seemed like hours deliberating, but I really, really loved it and since then have been collecting lovely products! I have a grand total of 10 products, 4 of which are face products which I will be showing you today!
The first thing I shall be talking about is my blush from MAC in the shade 'Pink Cult'. I didn't pick this one out for myself, a lady working at MAC asked if I wanted to try a blush with another product I asked to try out, and I thought that I may as well, and I actually really liked it! So I went back and bought it a few weeks later, after getting some sort of prize money for something, because that seems to be the only time when I can actually afford to splash out on high end stuff. I would describe this as the perfect cool-toned blush for people with similar skin tone to myself (really quite pale with dark hair and blue eyes) but I think this would probably work for people with darker skin tones too. It's greally pigmented- a little goes a very long way! To apply this is use Elf's Studio Blush Brush, which was £3.50 when I bought it but may have gone up in price since then. I'm pretty sure the blush itself cost £17.50 :)
The next thing up is one of my two Mineralise Skinfinishes, which I both love but is one has to be my favourite for my daily wear makeup! It's in the shade 'Lightscapade', a beautiful pearly sheen colour on the skin, gorgeous for cheekbones. It's really subtle but still visible, and I also love it in the inner corner of the eye for a super-simple and quick look! In the pan it's really pretty, a white-ish shine marbled with blues and pinks and all sorts! This cost me £21.50, and was definitely worth it!
My other Mineslise Skinfinish is in the shade 'Soft and Gentle', and its slightly more noticeable, a really pretty goldy bronze colour, and it really gives a lovely glow. Don't be put off if you swatch it in the shop- it looks mega mega glittery, but it doesn't come out at all glaring on the skin! This is really pretty as an eye colour as well! Again, lovely on the cheekbones! This was also £21.50.
My final product is a Mineralise Skinfinish Natural, which is a setting powder/foundation. It gives some coverage which is great if, like me, you don't really have many problems with your skin! It gives a really flawless, matte finish but its not dull at all, it's gorgeous! I wear the shade Light Plus, as matched by a lady at the counter which is perfect for me. It's actually brand new, I bought it on Sunday, and I love it already!
So, thankyou very mucho for bothering to read this, I'll be back soon with my next post about eye products! See you soon!
