First up I have a few lips products to share. I get really bad, cut up, dried out lips every winter, so I've tried and tested quite a few lip balms and suchlike! Firstly, Blistex Relief Cream has saved me this past fortnight. It's 'medicated relief for occasional cold sores, cracked, chapped and sore lips'. And I've got to say, all of that is absolutely true! I had one massive split in my lip which was pretty painful, but this stuff completely healed it! It was £3 something, and so worth it. However, although it does heal, it doesn't really moisturise, so I find its good to have a nice lip balm to back you up. I like Figs and Rouge 100% Organic Lip Balm in the flavour Pomegranate. It's really moisturising, but I wouldn't say it smells of pomegranate, more those crystally orange things they put on Christmas cake. Trust me to relate everything back to cake! You can buy Figs and Rouge products at boots, this cost £4.99. The last lip product on my list is the LUSH popcorn lip scrub. It's a sugar scrub made up of castor sugar, jojoba oil, sea salt, polenta, coconut oil and popping candy. It tastes AMAZING. It's all buttery and caramely and just all round yummy. And every so often you get a little burst of salt! I would say this is good for when your lips have pretty much healed!
Next up is a load of drinks I love having when I'm not too well. Firstly, just water. I got a litre bottle of water when I was really ill in Edinburgh, and you have no idea how much just sipping water can help! Next is Glaceau Vitamin Waters, which I admit can be a little tasteless, but they have a bunch of good stuff in them, and I do like the Power-C Dragonfruit flavour. I also love Cadburys hot chocolate, made with microwaved milk. So darn tasty! And Lemsip is just kind of genius. I put in honey and sugar to make it tastier.
My last category is random other things. I love watching films when I'm ill, especially Christmas ones! Also, watching loads of one series is fun, my favourite is Gavin and Stacey, its ridiculously funny. I also need a duvet and pillow wherever I settle down, and loads of magazines. I think the key to getting well soon is getting the perfect balance of resting and doing things to keep boredom at bay! I hope this might have helped some of you who are maybe feeling ill, or might help some of you in the future! Thankyou muchly for reading,
